Delete your Owevo account

Sign in below to schedule account deletion. No app, email, or support ticket is required.

What happens

Deletion is scheduled seven days ahead. During those seven days you can cancel it here or in the app. Your account keeps working normally in the meantime.

After the seven days pass, your private profile, discovery record, friend list and pending requests are permanently removed, along with your profile photo and any data export you requested.

Shared group history is kept so other members retain an accurate record of who owed what. Your entries appear as “Deleted user”, with your name, photo and email removed. Expenses and settlements themselves are not deleted, because other people’s balances depend on them.

Deletion stays available even if you have an outstanding balance. Leaving a group or being removed from one still requires a zero balance first.

Export your data first

If you want a copy before deleting, request a data export in the app. You will receive a ZIP containing your profile, groups, expenses, settlements and invitations as JSON and CSV. Export links expire after 48 hours.

Contact support from the email address connected to your Owevo account. We may require a secure identity check and will never ask for your password.
