What Owevo uses
Owevo uses account details, group membership, expenses, settlements, invitations, device tokens, optional profile photos, and optional receipt images to provide the service. The MVP stores only an age-requirement confirmation, not a full date of birth or gender.
Analytics and advertising
Privacy-safe analytics events may measure signup, group creation, invitations, expenses, settlements, and retention. Owevo does not place descriptions, amounts, notes, receipts, dates of birth, or email addresses in analytics or crash logs. Public launch advertising is planned to begin with contextual or non-personalized ads and required consent controls.
Retention and control
Users will be able to request an export and initiate account deletion. Shared ledger records may be anonymized and retained where needed so other group members keep an accurate history. The detailed retention schedule and regional processing disclosures are release requirements.
